The big news: Mouse-style context menus everywhere in Metro
Sometimes you may notice that your Modern/Metro Windows 8/8.1 apps are starting too slow or do not load at all. This is definitely annoying. On a fresh install of Windows 8.1 and Windows 8 those apps are fast, but sometimes the app might get stuck on the screen with the loading circle animation and the app logo. In this article, we will review some workarounds to reduce the startup time of Metro Apps in Windows 8.1 and Windows 8 with very simple steps. We will also see what can prevent apps from working and take steps to correct those issues.
Windows 8/8.1 does not include .NET 3.5 (include .NET 2.0 and 3.0) by default. But if the user is upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 8, .NET Framework 3.5 is fully enabled. The user can make sure this feature is enabled by check in Program and Features.
These is list of steps that the user can do to check it : Step 1 : Go to Settings. Choose Control Panel then choose Programs. 1. First of all move your mouse cursor or your finger on top of the screen as you used to do in Windows 8.
2. Drag the app thumbnail to the bottom of the screen BUT DO NOT release the cursor or your finger. Keep the app thumbnail on bottom and wait for a while. The thumbnail will turn into the original app icon and now you can release it. As soon as you drop the icon on bottom, it'll permanently close the app. |
